New Mini Catalogue is here

Please note this post will be staying at the top of the blog for the time being.  All new blogs will appear underneath.

Each year Stampin’ Up! releases a new Idea Book & Catalogue. It’s a time that we look forward to newly unveiled stamp sets, exciting new accessories, and fantastic project ideas. The Mini Catalogue is exciting for all of these reasons and more. You'll find fabulous new stamp sets, rub-ons, papers and shimmer paints too.

The purpose of a mini catalogue is to compliment the stamp sets and accessories in the Idea Book & Catalogue. They may not be available again in other catalogues.

Over the next week or so I will post up some projects that I have made from the mini catalogue products.

I will be holding stamp camps as well as home workshops, contact me for more information.

Random Acts of Kindness

Or RAK’s as they are sometimes called..

The other day, out of the blue, a small parcel arrived on my doorstep addressed to me.  Now I knew I hadn’t ordered anything so wondered what on earth it could be.  Inside, carefully wrapped, was a little Hogwarts Gryffindor badge that one of my friends from the UK Garrison Costuming Club (http://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/) that I belong to had sent me.  One of my costumes is that of a Gryffindor Student and he thought I might like the badge to but on my UKG jacket.
It’s not often that RAK’s happen, and this was so out of the blue that it really humbled me.  Even though I spoke to him after on the phone to say thanks you and tell him how thrilled I was with it, I still felt that it needed a little card to say thanks.

And here it is……

 Circle Circus Thanks
I used the following…
Stamp Sets – Circle Circus & Thank You Kindly
Inks – Basic Black, Basic Grey, Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery
Card Stock – Whisper White, Brocade Blue, Basic Black & Basic Grey
Accessories – Silver Brad

I think you’ll agree that this is quite a nice masculine thank you!

A lot going on…..

As it says, I have had a lot going on recently which is why there has been a lack of posts.  Sorry all.  But I have been busy.

One thing that we have been doing is planning our darling daughters naming ceremony.  The venue is booked, caterers are booked, invites went out and replies are coming in.

Now the invites are not Stampin’ Up! apart from the SNAIL Adhesive I'm afraid.  They are however, an exact copy of her brothers design from 3 years ago.  I could have gone for something different but I just love the design and….well it had to be done.  I hope you like it, it’s neat, simple but oh so sweet!
