Circle Circus, So Simple and Neat.

Just a quickie today...

I love the simple design of this card.  The images from Circle Circus work so well here.  I used a Pretty In Pink card Base and then a Basic Black Mat topped with Whisper White.

DSC03057

The Circle Circus images were stamped in Gumball green, Elegant Eggplant and Pretty In Pink. I added a Basic Rhinestone to each of the larger circles and under the My Friend sentiment.

Hope you like it.

Shoe Box Swap Part 2

As per part 1 This is a little photo heavy again, so my apologies.

So first up we have this fabulous card from Leanne.  I love all of the different layers and pieces to this card.  The use of the Honeycomb Textured Impressions folder with the little hexagons in looks great. And don’t you just love the little dotty spotty butterfly?  I used one of our Stampin’ Up! white gel pens to do the dots.

DSC03192

I just love this stunning Collage stamped card created by my good friend Rachel.  Look at all those different stamped layers, then by adding the ticket, rose and ribbon the whole thing just pops to life!

DSC03194

Even the Envelope gets a stamping!

DSC03193

I love this next card by Lucy.  The little bees from Nature Walk work so well with the new Honeycomb Textured Impressions folder.  These were stamped and then gently watercoloured.  I love the greeting from Wacky Wishes Hostess set.

DSC03172

Wow, paper tearing and sponging on this next one by Sasha!  I just love the Early Espresso edged on to the Island Indigo cardstock.  The frame from Papaya Collage works so well on the First Edition Speciality Paper.

DSC03175

And finally here is my project.  I wanted to give everyone a little something that they could pop all their cards into to take home.  i love this little card holder and it is so easy to make!  I used he Tea for Two Designer Series Papers and made kits to compliment the papers.

DSC03167

I used the greeting from the Oh, hello stamp set, sponged the edges and added the utterly gorgeous flower from the flower trim which can be found in the Spring/Summer Catalogue.

DSC03168

First up is this very simple card using the images from the Tea Shoppe stamp set.  I used some of the left over Designer Series Papers to make the strip and circle.  I really love that stamp set!

DSC03169

Well, we’ve seen tons of these banner cards but they are so fab, so here’s another! Again I used up some of my left over DSP to make them.  the greeting is from petite pairs which is then punched using the largest Oval punch.  A little sponging around the edges and a couple of our larger pearls from the mixed set of basic Pearls and there you have it.

DSC03170

We all had a ton of fun on the day, there was lots of chatting, and laughing.  Plenty ooh’s and ah’s and some great crafting creativity!  I cannot wait for the next one.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Bloomin’ Marvellous!

And what a Bloomin’ Marvellous card this is.  I love the de-bossed Petals a Plenty background.

The butterflies have been stamped in Tangerine Tango, Pool Party, and Rich Razzleberry. And layered on an opposite coloured circle. Basic Rhinestones create the body of one of the butterflies.

DSC03052

I added a faux stitching on the Island Indigo cardstock using the White Gel pen.

I hope you like it.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

    Cards and Coffee Morning projects.

As you know I have been running some regular Cards and coffee mornings.  These are lovely informal classes and are designed for all abilities.  If you live near Wokingham, Berkshire then why not pop along to one.  Drop me an email for a list of dates.

As we are still in Saleabration the first card was made using the Feeling Sentimental stamp set and  First Edition Speciality Papers. Early Espresso cardstock was used for the base and matting.  I used Naturals White cardstock for the base mat and to stamp the phone box onto.

The phone box was then water coloured using Real red ink.

    DSC03195

This next card was inspired by the Easel card that I got to make at our recent Show box swap.  With this one I wanted to go a little more masculine and used the totally gorgeous Fan Fair Designer Series Papers to dictate the colour combination and give an air of masculinity. The tree is from the ever so popular Lovely As A Tree set.

The Natural trim Ribbon looks like hessian and really added to this card.

    DSC03196

See how when you open the card you can then see the greeting inside and use it to hold open the easel too.

    DSC03197

And last but not least is this cheerful birthday card.  I love the white stamping of the flowers from Mixed Bunch.  The greeting is from Curly cute and that main flower has been stamped in Craft Whisper White ink.  The centre is stamped in Raspberry Ripple as is the greeting. A couple of Basic Rhinestones

    DSC03198

I hope you like the cards we made.  Don’t forget to get in touch if you would like to come to future classes or if you would like to order any of the products used here.

    Until next time, happy crafting.

    Shoe Box Swap… Part 1

This post is a little picture heavy…..But it’s worth it!

Recently I organised a Shoe-box swap with some fellow Demonstrators and friends of Stampin Up!

Whats a shoebox swap i hear you ask, well… Each person taking part makes up a project.  That project can be a card, scrap page, 3D item etc., but it must tie in with either the theme or specification of the swap.  The only brief that I gave those taking part was that it HAD to be current Stampin’ Up! products and should be something that you could easily replicate for a class or make & take.

So with those instructions in mind, here are some of the fabulous projects that we made.  Now they’re not all shown here as a couple of Demo’s request theirs to be posted another time as the project was being used in a near future training session.  So sorry all, no spoilers!

Please not that all these projects I have made but using the kit and instructions by the ladies credited.

First up is this gorgeous one from the very talented Sarnie. Isn’t it a great use of the Heart Punch to make the large flower?  Can you name all the punches that she has used?

    DSC03171

This gorgeous chic card is from the very talented Dawn.  The mix of images from Elements of Style and Established Elegance work so well don’t they?

    DSC03173

Next up is this ATC Photo holder Card from my good friend Valerie.  Val used the images from By the Seashore and embossed the onto River Rock cardstock and carefully cut out. These are then attached to the outer of the ATC and trimmed.  Can you see the mini pencil tucked in there?

    DSC03174

Next up is this adorable Twirly Whirly Birthday from Vannessa.  The little pinwheels are made using the Sizzlits Pinwheel Die that can be found in the Spring/Summer catalogue.

    DSC03176

Why have I not made more Stepper Cards I do not know!  They are so much fun to make, and even more fun to receive.  the fabulous creation is from the lovely and very funny Anel Laurens.  This is a great project for use in a class. The butterflies are a great addition, and can be run through a Textured Impressions folder to add more depth.

    DSC03178

I think all thanks should be given by the cupful!  And you can do just that with this design by Jessica Parkin.  Such a simple, neat design.  The pearls add a nice little touch to the centre of the flowers on the teacup from the Tea Shoppe stamp set.

    DSC03177

Easel Cards make a card more fun, just like stepper cards do.  And this lovely one by Jen is not only a lot of fun to make, but also to receive.  The little greeting is tucked away inside until  it is opened and put on display.  The little tree image is from Lovely as a Tree, which I love using.  It is a great must have set.

    DSC03179

Oh My, I just love this gorgeous set of very masculine cards from my lovely friend Carole. The French Foliage set really makes a One Sheet Wonder card set so simple and quick to make.

    DSC03188

I hope you like the projects shown here, and this is just a few of them…..Yes you’ve got mine to come as well!

Don’t forget that everything used here can be purchased through me – Contact me today to place an order. sassystampers@gmail.com

I’ll post up the next lot very soon.

    Until then, Happy Crafting!

    Card Class Projects

My recent Cards and Coffee morning went very well.  The girls all had a lot of fun making their projects.  They got to make 3 cards in total which was just right for their 2 hours together.

First up is this pretty little card using the Create a Cupcake stamp set and Cupcake Builder punch.

    DSC03161

And because I just love Sale-a-Bration (SAB), our next card features the fabulous Sycamore Street Designer Series papers.  The sentiments come from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set so everyone got to choose their own greeting.

     DSC03189

Lastly we have this gorgeous collage stamped card using some of the elements from the Clockworks stamp set.  The greeting is from another SAB gift Pretty Petites stamp set and the matching Petite Curly Label punch.

    DSC03190

It was great to see the girls making these into family birthday, thank you or Mother’s Day cards.

Well today I am planning and making the samples for my next Cards and Coffee morning next Wednesday 13th March.

    Take Care and Happy Crafting.
